O'Neill invented the wetsuit, and the Basic Skins rash guard carries the same practical thinking. The long sleeves and UPF 50+ fabric block the vast majority of UV rays, so it doubles as sun protection for paddling, snorkelling and poolside afternoons.
The 6 oz polyester-spandex knit stretches four ways, dries quickly and has a slightly loose fit that is comfortable over swim trunks or under a wetsuit. Flatlock seams and a minimal-tag neck reduce chafing.
Fits loose; size down for a closer fit. Rinse in fresh water after use, machine wash cold and hang dry.
